Funk Friday & Addy’s New Strings

Thanks to the generosity of St. Paul Peterson and the entire Funk Friday community, Free Guitars 4 Kids had the opportunity to spend the evening surrounded by incredible musicians, inspiring conversations, and one very special guitar presentation.

One of the night's highlights was introducing the Funk Friday crowd to Addy, a young musician from Walker West Musical Academy. Addy’s musical journey received a little core-memory boost with the well-deserved gift of a brand new guitar. Walker West’s tagline is “grow through music,” and for those of us here at FG4K, we hope Addy and frankly, every single kid we interact with does just that!
