Amplifying Possibility

Inspiring the Next Generation of Musicians- Together

Resourcing nonprofits & mentors

At Free Guitars 4 Kids, our national impact is powered by connection. We've built a growing movement that reaches far beyond our local communities by working through a network of nonprofit partners, mentoring organizations, and music-loving advocates. This approach allows us to leverage the infrastructure that already exists — youth clubs, faith-based programs, schools, and social service agencies — to get guitars into the hands of children who need them most. So far, we’ve distributed over 4,000 guitars in 24 states and 4 countries, with more added every month. From small towns to urban centers, the sound of hope and creativity is spreading — and we’re just getting started.

The music is in the stories

Jade Martinez of PAL Center Redwood City, partner of Free Guitars 4 Kids, smiling confidently

“Since 2022, our partnership with Free Guitars for Kids was made possible through the Saga Foundation and has been an incredible gift for our youth. Not only do our students receive access to a high-quality guitar and music class right in their after-school program, but they also get to take home a brand-new guitar of their own. This program perfectly aligns with our mission to give kids the chance to try new things, discover hidden talents, and build lasting friendships. We are grateful to FG4K for helping us open new doors of creativity and possibility for our young people.”

Ben Dudley with Clemmie from Nashville Peacemakers, celebrating their partnership with Free Guitars 4 Kids

“With support from Free Guitars 4 Kids, Guitars Not Gunz turns pain into possibility by putting guitars directly into the hands of our youth.”

— Clemmie Greenlee - Founder, Nashville Peacemakers

In May of 2023, Free Guitars 4 Kids partnered with multi-grammy winning artist, Amy Grant, to give away two guitars in Minneapolis, MN during her concert. One year later, the young man who received the guitar is now out performing on the streets of Minneapolis! What an amazing testimony to the power of generosity, music and the impact a gift can make on a child’s life.
